“凡音者,生于人心者也”乐由心而生。

作为打击乐中最重要的组成乐器--“鼓声”实则并非乐音,但为何“发烧友”最钟情于鼓;为何沙场之上,鼓舞士气之时,鼓永远作为最重要的法器;我想这都是因为“鼓”同我们的“心”与“脉”相通,无需任何多言,即可在跳动的鼓皮与节奏中诠释出人的七情“喜、怒、忧、思、悲、恐、惊”在鼓槌的挥舞与敲击中满足人的六欲“眼、耳、鼻、舌、身、意”。

那么如何打造出一张“有情有欲”的中国打击乐发烧专辑,这个问题从十年前我便开始思索,这张专辑终于给出了答案。如《鼓诗》中不仅在音响诠释上充分体现大鼓极深沉的低频体量与重心结像,又要有群鼓与独奏鼓对话中鼓皮微弱的跳动与轮廓;又如《横刀立马》中的高潮段落既要有群鼓与锣镲打击乐的的急风骏马与酣畅淋漓;再如《钟鼓乐三折》中打击乐的娓娓道来,幻虚兼备以及用大锣勾画出的大象无形之感。这些音响的重现与升华无疑是对“达人”录音音响理念与技术手法的诠释,下面让我们打开音响,调大音量,探究《鼓·进击》的真容!!

Music is born in people’s mind. Sound exists in the sequence of thoughts.

As the most important components of all percussion instruments, drums do not produce musical sound but why do they remain percussion fanciers’ favorite? Why are drums the most significant instrument on the battlefield for enhancing troop morale? I believe this is because drums can connect with our minds and thoughts by easily interpreting human being’s emotions and sensory pleasures, with their beats and rhythms.

Then how can we create an album of emotions and sensory pleasures for China’s percussion fanciers? This is the question that I’ve been thinking for 10 years and this album finally provides me the answer to it. Take Drum Poetry for example, its acoustic volume embodies the deep and low frequency of drums. It also forms a conversation between group and solo performance with the bounce and silhouette of the drum head. Another example comes from War Hero Galloping on Battlefield, where its climax fully portraits an image of a war hero who fights gallantly on the horseback with the performance of drums, gongs and cymbals. Last but not least, Ancient Chimes: Qi, Yu and Mao tells story with percussion performances and combines illusory with reality with large gongs. The recurrence and sublimation of these instruments are the annotation of DR Classics’s recording concepts and techniques. Let’s turn on the player and turn up the volume to discover the truth of Drum Strikes.

鼓诗  Drum Poetry

为一群中国鼓而作的一首中国打击乐经典作品。该作品广泛吸收收了多种鼓的演奏技法,领鼓声音雄浑,一领众和,与排鼓、大堂鼓交相辉映,体现一种华夏精神和中国气质。

This is a masterpiece of classical Chinese percussion intended for group performance of multiple Chinese drums with different techniques. The lead drum’s deep timbre echoes with the tones of row drums and large tupans and reflects China’s cultural spirit and characteristics.

钟鼓乐三折——戚·雩·旄  Ancient Chimes: Qi, Yu and Mao

作曲家周龙于上个世纪80年代中旬创作了由三个乐章构成的组合打击乐独奏套曲《钟鼓乐三折——戚·雩·旄》,曲中作曲家选用了大堂鼓、排鼓、南梆子、木鱼、铃、吊钹、编钟、十面锣、风锣、深波、大筛锣等中国传统打击乐器,并且与外来的旋律性打击乐器——小钟琴和管钟琴相结合进行创作。作品气氛热烈、音响拙朴奇特,呈现出了中国古代社会征战、祈雨、祭祀等充满着原始生命力的乐舞场面。

Composer ZHOU Long produced Ancient Chimes: Qi, Yu and Mao, a solo divertimento of combined percussion formed by three chapters in the middle of 1980’s. The composer chooses a myriad of Chinese traditional percussion instruments such as large tupan, row drums, wood block, wooden knocker, bell, suspension cymbal, bell set, ten-surface gong, wind gong, large high-side gong and large sieve, and blends them with melodic western percussion instruments including small glockenspiel and tubular bells to formulate this piece of work.

横刀立马  War Hero Galloping on Battlefield 

《横刀立马》是为一位中国民族打击乐独奏与五位打击乐伴奏而创作的打击乐作品,作品将中国传统民族打击乐与现代作曲技法相融合,并尝试运用新的演奏方法于民族打击乐上,描绘出战者在沙场上勇猛威武的姿态。这首作品由主奏者通过演奏中国民族打击乐器组合,引领其他以中西方打击乐相结合的伴奏声部共同演奏。

War Hero Galloping on Battlefield was created for a Chinese folk percussion group of one solo performer and five accompaniment artists. It combines Chinese traditional folk percussion with modern composing techniques and manages to utilize new performing methods over folk percussion, depicting an image of a war hero who fights gallantly on the horseback.

进击  Advancer

《进击》一曲是专为尹飞和他的打击乐团—进击打击乐团委约创作,作品融合具有中国特色的gu se与中西乐器结合的重奏协奏片段,在专注于传统艺术的同时,也表现了打击乐世界的精彩纷呈,进击,在不断向前进取之时,击响华夏文明绚丽篇章。

Advancer was commissioned for YIN Fei and other members of the Strikeast Percussion Ensemble, whose name shares its meaning, Strikeast Percussion Ensemble. Advancer fuses Chinese drum and se zither with duet and concerto of both Chinese and western instruments. While paying attention to China’s traditional arts, it also pays tribute to the diversity of the percussion arts. In this way, keeps going forward to make progress while unfolding the splendid chapters of the Chinese civilization.
